Good evening everyone

@Aliyufunmi

Good evening @Dacheo

@IngressiveLLC

Good evening @Dacheo thanks for taking time with the group tonight

@Dacheo

The pleasure is all mine

First Question

IngressiveLLC

So I'll ask the first question. Marketing has always been one of the toughest fields to succeed in. What is the hardest part of it for you?

Answer

@Dacheo

To be honest it has to be understanding the product you intend the push out.That is, the core and basic work to understand the potential market, zero in on a target market, develop a Unique Selling Proposition, and do the research to support all of this.

So the hardest part in marketing is understanding the Niche you wish to serve

Question

IngressiveLLC

What niche does Dacheo media serve?

Answer

@Dacheo

We serve the niche of SMEs, Business owners, Brands looking for that competitive edge to push their product or services to a wider audience using social media platforms to amplify and communicate their objectives.

we noticed the impact of new media is and how trends are changing

Question

@whoishabyb

Have you ever had a problem selling a product or a company, if yes, how did you solve it?

@Dacheo

gradually shifting from traditional media

Yes i have encountered problems with selling a product for brands and companies and what i did was to change the strategy used and find a more adaptable approach

what works for Company A might not necessarily for Company B

So in trying to sell you must always look at how such product will be attractive to the customer

Question

@whoishabyb

A lot of digital marketers believe Facebook is the best social media platform to sell, but according to some vendors, they said 60% of their sales come from Instagram. My question is do you think Facebook is the best platform or the product itself determines the type of platform that will sell it?

@Aliyufunmi

These days is almost compulsory to have a social media presence for any business, which is the best strategy to grow and market your product/service; immediately marketing your product? or market your values and how the product relates to the market audience?

Answer

@Dacheo

Platforms will always come and go,but the ability to identify which works for you at any given time is crucial

So for any business you need to check the platform that you can ride on successfully

I think in as much as it is important to have a social media presence.it is important to create value that people can relate to

So i will recommend you market your values

and how your product can invariably relate the market audience

People tend to rush to make sales

which sometimes could even lead to their own downfall

@Ayobamigbe

It seems to me that a point of the peak of social media it looks like the leaders probably decrease and they like just channel and they channel that influence to something else

@Dacheo

Regardless of the fact that your ultimate goal is sales, you need to be able to have people rush your product based on the satisfaction they will enjoy from using it

@whoishabyb

I have one more question

@Dacheo

go ahead please

i am all yours

Questions

@whoishabyb

With the current algorithm Facebook and other platforms  are using its looking like It’s not the best content that wins. It’s the best promoted content that wins. How do you think one can make good impressions or reach without using the paid service?

Answer

@Dacheo

Yes you have a valid question

Facebook and IG are trying to rake their own profit

so if your profile is more of contents that talks about sales and products

the likelihood of it been seen is reduced

what i advice is for each business to set out a marketing budget to be able to expend to that effect

and also come up with contents can be as engaging as possible

what that does is it brings your content to live

so if you dont want to use paid services than your creative team must come up with content that can capture audience and get them talking regardless

so break the narrative

e.g see what sterling bank did with their post of shooting to the moon

@whoishabyb

Yes, disruptive ad

@Dacheo

it got people talking reardless

at the end of the day

they had to put out an apology statement

@whoishabyb

Their apology message showed they’ve landed on the moon, lol

Thank you very much @Dacheo

This have been very insightful for me

@Dacheo

they sure landed

smiles

Question

@whoishabyb

One last question please

So Facebook edgerank algorithm is not a fan of hashtag, but quite a number of people are still using it. I want to ask if they’ve changed that part of the algorithm or # is still a no no for mark and his team?

Answer

@Dacheo

To be honest i dont know about it yet,but will find out with facebook team when next we meet

But no harm in using the hashtags

@whoishabyb

Alright!

Question

@Aliyufunmi

@Dacheo concerning marketing, whats the most effective strategy, to bring in the big checks! aggressive outreach? or is social media the best way? and is it best to invest in a CRM?

Answer

@Dacheo

hmmmmm the big cheques...

Now for any strategy to be effective it has to be able to cut across or reach out to the people that need the service

@Aliyufunmi

lol *cheques.. Too much excitement

@Dacheo

so it might mean you not just sticking to social media but finding who the brand wishes to connect with

based on that you can then select the strategy that can engage them

The campaign should give you a clear objective of what they want to achieve and based on that you can decipher which strategy will best work

Question

@whoishabyb

Which one do you think converts more on the digital space B2B or B2C

Answer

@Dacheo

i will go with B2C

alot of businesses connect directly with their customers

who are the end-users of their products or services.

@whoishabyb

Great, I’ll go with b2c also. I feel it has to do with numbers and the customers are waaaaay much more than the businesses

And consumers don’t really think that much before consuming a product

@Dacheo

Valid Point

@IngressiveLLC

I think we'll close here. Thank you so much @Dacheo for your time!

@whoishabyb

Thank you very much @Dacheo , this has been a very enlightening session for me.

@Aliyufunmi
