Kwarapoly Ingressive Campus Meetup 3.0: As it happened

June 2, 2018 was a great day at MAL Hub, a beautiful day to always remember in the history of Kwaran students, another day developers from various campuses united to learn about Problem Solving skills of Great Software Developers Using Github.

The event was a great success, with over 81 developers from different institutions across Kwara State in attendance. It was indeed a great privilege for many developers as they acquire knowledge that can help them improve their skills as a world class developer. It featured four amazing speakers.

Kamaldeen Yusuf kick start the event by discussing the importance of understanding a programming language, open source tools such as GitHub, a framework or even the algorithms which is not the hard part of building software, he discussed further on how to split large complex goals into small, simpler ones.

Yahyah Mohammed sensitized participants with a very beautiful presentation on GitHub as an open source platform, he taught participants how to use GitHub in their project. Mohammed also talked about the future of software developers, how challenging it will be than anything we can imagine, but he also emphasized more on the importance of becoming world class developer. The participants were amazed by his presentation.

Ibrahym Dhullikiflii talked about how technology is improving businesses and He discussed about the importance of technological tools to entrepreneurs in this 21st Century. Also emphasized on how digital marketing helps SMEs and large scale enterprises in Nigeria. The Membersdrive guru is such an amazing speaker who inspired the participants to be more productive with digital tools.

Ojeniyi speaks on Building Internet Business In Our Community Lifting your business from ground zero up in 21st century means that you have to take it to internet, as it is the best and cheapest means of reaching wide audience in shortest possible time.

He said in order to achieve this, you need a functional website or blog site, reasonable presence on social media. Then understand how to use Google keyword and other similar tools to know exactly what people in your community might be interested in. The farmer is a tech lover who is passionate about community development.

Mudashir Abdulmalik speaking on Creativity In Entrepreneurship

Abdulmalik who talked about Creativity In Enterpreneurship as a capacity building subject designed to train and encourage people to start their own business in a way to become self-employed and contribute to the national development. He talks about what a business idea is, how to generate and capture ideas cum ensuring that our business ideas solve problems and meet needs. He also expressively discusses how to run one’s business and things that cause business failure.

Abdulmalik is a designer, councillor and a writer who loves imparting into to peoples life, he delivered a wonderful presentation

And we call it a wrap, after taking enough selfies and group photos with speakers and organizers, the participants went home with a joyful face, more knowledge to brag about and some valuable new contacts.
